Payments & Deadlines
Pay on time to minimize storage costs and keep the shipping schedule on track.
Standard Payment Schedule – USA & Canada
Within 48 hours of purchase – you are required to pay for: the vehicle, auction fees, inland transport (USD), and the UPCARS commission (PLN or USD).
Before arrival in the EU – pay the UPCARS service fee (EUR / USD / PLN).
Upon arrival in the EU (e.g. Rotterdam) – pay customs duties in EUR.
After delivery of the vehicle – settlement for EU–Poland transport is made in cash, bank transfer, or BLIK (local payment method).
Currencies & Bank Payments
Payments should preferably be made via a bank currency exchange office from a USD account.
If you transfer funds from a PLN account to a USD account, your bank may charge unnecessary additional fees.
We recommend using a bank exchange office for the best PLN/USD rates.
Penalties & Additional Charges (Typical)
Underpayment – small discrepancies may occur due to bank fees other than OUR.
Late payment penalties – auctions/platforms may charge fees according to their own policies. After winning an auction, please settle payments promptly upon receiving the invoice from UPCARS.
Auction yard storage fees – charged if vehicle pickup is delayed after funds are received.
